Hi there, I am an artist based in Toronto, Canada. Don’t be fooled by my professionalism on the internet, my work like many other artists stems from procrastination, overthinking, some tears and a healthy dose of caffeine.
On a more serious note, I have practiced art since I was very young, and my interest in art as a lifestyle has matured with me. Growing up in a rural area surrounded by nature, I have learned to explore and observe the world around me. I have recently begun incorporating rural settings and landscapes into my work. I enjoy the mix of graphic street styles with dainty, rendered images which is something I would like to further explore in my work. I deeply love creating and expressing what I feel through various art mediums. Having my first painting formally exhibited in a gallery, I am looking into emerging further into the gallery world!
Besides art, I love playing basketball with my brother, taking long walks, and baking. I am drawn to figuring out what is going on inside my brain. My artistic approach, like many, begins with lots of procrastination, overthinking and a hint of tears. But through much exploration, I sometimes come to some conclusions. People and animals are often my main focus as I find them intriguing, but examining the ones around me is my main focus in the future in my work. Some of my favourite words that get me thinking are melancholy, repetition, minutia, sombre, and still.
